Last year Kasteel Construction had the hard task of building an extension for me. The purpose of the build was to keep a family member at home and not have to go into a home. I wanted the new build to comply with 2 things. One it had to remain to look like home and not a hospital, and flow with the rest of the house. Secondly had to adhere to specific turning spaces have a reinforced roof for a hoist and a wet room . I met with Richard and straight away felt at ease. He actually listened and took on board what we wanted .He understood that the build had to be right for us. Richard and his team of builders took on the task of turning my garage into a room. The room had to be insulated so there wouldn’t be a drop in temperature. The extension also involved a garden room with a sky light for all the family to sit in all weathers. I was quoted 3500 for a ramp to the back door but Richard came up with a fantastic idea I hadn’t thought of and lifted the current mono blocks, raised the drive and re laid the bricks. Not only did it look great it was practical too and it saved me money. I am incredibly happy with my build. Richard and his team were tidy, time Conscientious polite and hard working. It’s not often you can find a genuine builder that cares and takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend anyone contacting Richard for a quotation. If I was unsure about anything I would call Richard and we would either be able to sort it by phone or pop around. Everyone who has been to my house since ( including builders) have said what an excellent job they had made. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks Richard and your team.
