She who dares......

Anita Carlton of Carlton’s of Churchtown doesn’t like heights, isn’t very keen on flying, and suffers from motion sickness - so why is she going to jump out of a plane at 13,500 feet?

The short answer is to raise money for ‘The Prince’s Trust’ a charity committed to supporting young  entrepreneurs to make sure they have the best chance of succeeding in the business they have set up. Funding has allowed the Trust to develop an innovative approach to the way it supports young people on the business  programme, ensuring that all across the UK they receive support at every stage.

Anita will be taking this challenge at Cark Airfield in Cumbria on Saturday 26th September.  After exiting the aircraft she will experience freefall for around 45 seconds until the parachute opens at 5,000 feet!

Having recently begun a new business venture, Carlton’s of Churchtown, Anita is keen to show that women are prepared to take part in all types of challenge, however difficult they may be - and jumping from a plane, even if you’re not scared of heights is certainly not easy.

Anita wishes to thank Haley’s Accountants,  Refresh (John Waller), DWF Solicitors, Janet of In & Round Churchtown and her family for all their support.

The best of luck, Anita.
