The IQ Slough scheme is part of huge regeneration plan from SEGRO, which aims to build on Slough Trading Estate's success and make it a hugely desirable location for local, national and international businesses.

The scheme will create a new entrance from Bath Road and widen Leigh Road to transform it into a tree-lined boulevard. It will use newly available land to the south of Leigh Road Bridge, including areas along Aberdeen, Argyll and Ajax Avenues as well as Ipswitch Road.

The redevelopment work is set to take place over a 20 year time frame, in line with the wider masterplan vision. The masterplan will create two traffic-free plazas with new offices, two purpose-built transport hubs, two hotels, convenience shops, restaurants, cafes, a conference centre, leisure facilities and a dedicated skills and training centre known as Slough Aspire.

Occupants and visitors will benefit from the masterplan's modern and environmentally friendly buildings, more open spaces and a change in transport choices. The development will also enable the estate to play a greater role within the local community.

Infrastructure works on the IQ Slough scheme have already commenced, with electricity pylons being removed from the estate and cables grounded in preparation for development to begin.
