Festival of the Mind returns to Sheffield for ten days of free exhibitions, performances, talks, films and interactive activities.
Organised by the University of Sheffield, the festival brings together researchers and local artists to explore exciting ideas through art, science, technology and culture.
Discover the latest developments in artificial intelligence and robotics, step into virtual reality, explore the wonders of nature and space, and see how research is helping us understand everything from climate change to human health.
With immersive exhibitions, live performances, hands-on workshops and activities for all ages, there's plenty to discover across some of Sheffield's best-known cultural venues, including Millennium Gallery, Winter Garden, Persistence Works and Channing Hall.
All events are free and open to everyone. Some activities require booking.
