Established for over 60 years, New Directions Rugby Ltd. is a vibrant charity offering a wide range of social, housing, health and wellbeing services to people with a learning disability. We are based in the heart of the Warwickshire community where we provide dedicated, high quality support to learning disabled people and their carers.

At New Directions we look at the individual’s needs and wishes not just the disability and encourage our customers to get the most out of life. We listen to the voices of people with learning disabilities by working in partnership with them to actively develop our services, so that we can empower them to transform their lives.

Our reliable, highly trained staff team supply individually tailored support 1-24 hours, available when and where our customers need it.  We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and are a Warwickshire County Council and Northampton Council approved supplier.

Our services include:

•             Holiday Breaks/ Short Stay/ Respite - This could be a chance to take a holiday, make new friends, try new things, and gain independence skills. Our latest purpose built home Milner House has all ground floor bedrooms all of which have an en-suite wet room.

•             Supported Living and Home Care – We can provide person centred support in our customers’ homes that is chosen and controlled by them deciding when and where they want it. We provide support for our customers to run their own home the way they want, supporting them to maintain and develop their independence and skills.

•             Community Choices Network is our Flexible Opportunities/ Activities Service

We design our daily activities around what people want to do, introducing them to new opportunities, new friends and encouraging them to take advantage of our health and wellbeing programme. We provide different activities such as drama, singing, dancing, horse riding, cooking, swimming, getting green fingered on our allotment, arts and crafts and are actively looking for new activities our customers will enjoy in the local community.

•             Transition Support

We can make the transition from adolescence to adulthood more exciting and fulfilling with advice and support that make it easier to become independent and choose their individual life path.

•             Residential Services

We have attractive, comfortable homes providing 24 hour care and support where people are fully involved in the decisions of the home.
