I wanted to thank you and your colleagues for organising the wonderful Valentine's Ball last Saturday. It was our 4th ball and we enjoyed it as much as ever. Our group of ten had been looking forward to it and our anticipation mounted as we glimpsed through the doors into the function room and saw how beautifully the tables had been decorated. The meal was very good as usual. We had only just started our soup course when one of our guests said "can we book this again for next year?" I am not sure whether he meant the soup or the event - the soup was delicious. The disco was very good and Franklyn was brilliant. The way he knows his audience and chooses songs accordingly, and the way he interacts with folk as he wanders round the room singing is impressive. Another of our guests said "what brilliant night it was". Looking forward to next year already!
