Plans are afoot for the official 2012 Whitworth Calendar, following the outstanding success of the 2011 version, which saw over 400 copies sold.
The Whitworth Tourism and Leisure Committee, which is compiling the calendar, is hoping that local people can assist them in their search for appropriate photos.
The focus for 2012 is, broadly, on ‘Whitworth Life’, either scenery of Whitworth or scenes of Whitworth life (sporting events, day to day business etc). The organisers are asking anyone who would like to see their photo featured on the calendar to submit their entries by 31 March.
Entries are limited to 4 photos per person, in landscape format, and should be emailed to Karen, Town Clerk at info@whitworth.gov.uk, or dropped in to the Council Offices.
The submitted entries will be judged in April. Please include the name and address of the person submitting the photos.
