Barry Hyde and Pete Sweetmore, organisers of the Rossendale 60's Festival 2018, are delighted that many of the venues and events that made last years Rossendale 60's Festival such a success are already on board for this year, but with bigger and better events being planned. So far, the following have confirmed their involvement in this years Festival:

  • Blind Tiger (previously The Artisan) is already planning their Groovy weekend of 60's music
  •  The Whitaker Museum and Art Gallery will again be providing a palette of all things 60's, including the music, art and culture over the 60's weekend
  • The New Hare & Hounds in Stacksteads enjoyed their event so much last year that they have bought a commercial marquee and will be extending their event
  • The Crown Inn in Bacup will again be aiming to create the fabulous 60's atmosphere from last year
  • Bacup Cricket Club will again be staging Scoot Rossendale, bringing scooters from all over the Northwest to Rossendale
  • The Newchurch Village Community Association will again be staging the extremely popular New Kirk Fair on the weekend of this years 60's Festival
  • St Mary's Chambers have confirmed their involvement with the Festival this year

The organiser's objectives of engaging the whole of the Valley with the Festival haven't changed, so if you would like to include an event as part of the Rossendale 60's Festival 2018, please contact us, Barry Hyde at b.hyde3@ntlworld.com or Pete Sweetmore at petesweetmore@hotmail.co.uk, and we will be delighted to come along and discuss it with you.

This is a great opportunity for businesses and community groups to raise funds and their profile within the community, and be part of a fantastic annual Festival.
