Urgent Christmas Appeal For Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, Rossendale
16th December 2010

Dear Supporter,

Unlike most people, I dread Christmas. That's because for me Christmas means a shocking number of unwanted, helpless animals being dumped in the freezing cold.

Last winter, Bleakholt helped hundreds of animals, but with public spending cuts across the country and the risk of another harsh winter, I'm dreading Christmas more than ever.

Your support of the Bleakholt Christmas Appeal this year is urgently needed. With a couple of weeks to go until Christmas, please could you give a gift of £5.00 now?

As a Bleakholt supporter your gift this Christmas could be the last chance for an unsold or unwanted puppy like little Princess.

Please think about how you can give another animal a last chance by supporting the Bleakholt Christmas Appeal.

Thank you for your generosity.

Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary is a Registered Charity No 1110503.

Princess

Princess was brought to Bleakholt recently having been found by a dog warden called to a house in Pendle.

A six month old cross breed puppy, she has been infested with demodectic mange since birth and is extremely malnourished.
She may only recover after intensive care and expensive drug treatment for 12 months, but she is starting to respond well to her treatment.

Despite her suffering, she loves to be cuddled and would make a loving pet for a caring family.

Bleakholt is only able to offer this level of support to Princess and hundreds of similar cases through your generous donations.
