We all know how hard it can be to find activities for children of all ages that won't cost a fortune. We've already spent money on purchasing Easter eggs and they'll soon be bored, right?

Luckily, the Rossendale Valley is full of events that will keep your (hyper) children entertained without hitting your bank account hard. This guide is easy to read and simple, all the activities are listed below:

The Whitaker

Good Friday (3rd April)

Egg Rolling in Whitaker Park, we love it! This will be taking place from 1.00pm. At 4.00pm, there will be a performance from Joao Fraza, a Portugese folk musician.

Easter Saturday (4th April)

Easter card-making session!

Easter Sunday (5th April)

Easter egg hunt!

The Whitaker will also be featuring even more sp-egg-tacular events for the entire family on Easter Monday 6th April).

Rawtenstall Market

Easter Saturday (4th April)

Music will be blasting, a variety of local produce, products and homewares will be on sale and yes - the kids can take part in a number of Easter craft activities, it's a win, win!

 

The Bacup Hub

Throughout the weekend, The Bacup Hub will be hosting a number of events that are guaranteed to ensure the kids will have fun whilst they're off school. These include:

  • Pottery
  • Build-a-bear
  • Baking
  • FIFA competitions
  • Talent shows
  • Crafts
  • Games
  • Jungle Mania
  • Rounders
  • Football
  • Dodgeball
  • Pool
