Rossendale steams through the snow: East Lancashire Railway put on special commuter service
East Lancashire Railway have set up a special free commuter express to help stranded motorists and those trying to return home to Ramsbottom in the bad weather.
From 12:30 today the ELR will operate a half hourly express from Bolton Street Station to Ramsbottom with a return service from Ramsbottom departing on the hour every hour.
The last train to Ramsbottom will depart at 6:30pm this evening to Ramsbottom.
The last train from Ramsbottom to Bury will depart at 6pm.
