The festive tradition of carol singers at your door has been given a new twist this year thanks to local Community radio station `Rossendale Radio’. The team at the Haslingden based station has got together with the Children of the Valley to get everyone in a festive mood by visiting Schools and Nurseries and recording the children singing Christmas Songs and Carols.

Each day during December, up until Christmas day, different schools will be played on air at varying times throughout the day.
Presenter Peter Sweetmore said “ it has been really good visiting the schools & nurseries to record the children. We have some amazing talent in The Valley and it will be a pleasure to hear them on the radio.”

Tune in to Rossendale Radio on 104.7fm or online during the day between 7am – 7pm to hear the children’s voices.
