Rossendale Hospice Annual Ball on 2nd July 2011 proved to be another hugely successful and enjoyable event. Hosted this year at Manchester United Football Club, an amazing £40,225.54 was raised.
It was a fantastic night which was hosted by Jim Rosenthal, who gave his time freely. MUFC were very accommodating and helped us in raising our fabulous total, together with the guests who bid at the auction.
The box at Ascot made £3,000, the chefs table at Gordon Ramsey's restaurant at Claridges raised £2000 and the Ryan Giggs shirt with Derby tickets raised £1650. One lucky lady won the jewellery prize of white gold & diamond necklace & earrings, sponsored by Hanks & Mulroy.
The guests had the opportunity to be photographed with the premiership trophy & enjoyed a four course dinner followed by a midnight supper while being entertained by the 3 piece band, Area D.
