Premier Transport recently joined thebestofrossendale following a number of comments about their fantastic courier, haulage and freight services. Brian and Stuart really do go the extra mile for their customers and this was recognised when they were asked to make a very special delivery.
Premier Transport were contacted by a customer based in Dublin who needed a special trophy delivered to none other than football legend Sir Alex Ferguson! The trophy was given by the Coolmore stables in Ireland, following the repeated success of Rock of Gibraltar, a race horse in partial ownership by Sir Alex.
When Brian and Stuart realised who the special delivery was for they contacted Manchester United and very politely asked if it may be possible to present the trophy to Sir Alex with a few photos. Sir Alex very kindly agreed and the pictures were published in an industry magazine. However, as much as Brian enjoyed presenting the trophy to Sir Alex he is a big Blue fan- he wasn't smiling in the pictures and was promptly chopped out of them when the article went to print!
