On Thursday 10 November, the Mayor and Mayoress of Whitworth, Councillor Dave Bradbury and Ms Angela Gerrard, will hold a fundraising evening at Mario’s Italian Restaurant on Market Street in Bacup.
All proceeds from the evening will go towards the Mayor’s Charity Fund.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and will feature a meal, a charity raffle and lots more fun and games.
A similar event, hosted by the Mayor and Mayoress at the Ashoka Indian Restaurant in August, raised over £500 for the Mayor’s Charity Fund, and it is hoped that this event will be just as successful.
Other fundraising events in the pipeline include a Jumble Sale and a sponsored walk.
Mario’s holds a limited number of people so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
