Steven Townsend will be visiting Oscars Gallery on Saturday November 4th from 11am. This is a great opportunity for you to meet the man behind the art and Steven will be signing purchases throughout the day. Free refreshments will be available.
About Steven Townsend
Steven has been an artist for over 29 years and many of his painting and prints have now become collectors items. His paintings are well known for their highly realistic nature, some are extremely hard to tell apart from photographs. Steven is famous for his beautiful painting of dogs, birds and other wildlife that often sell out on publication. More recently he has branched out to painting sea and landscapes, captivating a whole new audience and delighting existing collectors of his work. He is also highly experienced in photography, the perfect companion to painting and it is often said this his photographs are truly breathtaking
Due to his strong Christian beliefs, all of Steven's paintings have the initials JTC (Jesus the Creator) incorporated into his work, sometimes taking hours for the untrained eye to find. Steven also achieved Artist of the Year in 1999 for his technical skill, talent, versatility and determination.
