Rossendale Radio joined our network of highly recommended members last year and their transmitter has now been switched on! A local community radio station, it serves the Rossendale area from Haslingden to Bacup, and Crawshawbooth to Ramsbottom. Over 72,000 adults live in Rossendale, which currently has no other commercial radio stations.
Rossendale Radio will now be on air 24 hours a day with local news, community views, and the best music spanning over the last 4 decades. Listeners will be able to interact with the radio station in many different ways from requesting their favourite song, to winning prizes - LIVE on air!
The radio station is run by a small team of both full and part time staff, as well as a dedicated group of volunteers. The community team can also publicise any events, organisations and groups for free!
