Whether you experienced the infamous 1960s yourself or appreciate what this decade did to music, fashion and young people, it is now your time to relive the best things about the Swinging Sixties, in 2014.
Rossendale 60's Festival will be taking place again this year, bringing together 1960s sounds, clothing and even forms of transport.
Although The Beatles won't be making an appearance, nor will The Supremes, this event will feature fantastic local bands, some of which have been influenced by Motown, Northern Soul and 60's pop.
A variety of events will be taking place across various locations throughout Rossendale as part of the festival, with buses transporting individuals across our beautiful town.
Rossobus have agreed to run the Magical Mystery Tour across the valley and buses driving along the 464 route will be decorated in 1960s designs, made by children from local schools. The 464 magical buses will run from Acrington to Rochdale, including Rossendale areas where events are taking place, including Haslingden, Rawtenstall, Bacup, Waterfoot and Whitworth.
If the 60's decorated buses weren't enough, what about scooters? A 1960's event is nothing without scooters. Whether you prefer mods or rockers, visit Haslingden Cricket Ground on 14th September for Scootfest.
Bring your Vespa or Lambretta because the best one wins a prize! Of course, as well as showcasing a variety of vintage scooters, Scootfest will also feature a ride out, fantastic bands, real ale, a BBQ and stalls.
The artists playing at Scootfest are:
