On Thursday 4th July St. Veronica's Hall in Helmshore was a hive of activity as the Haslingden Ladies Lifeboat Guild prepared for their annual Strawberry Cream Tea.
Over six hundred and seventy teas were prepared and delivered to local businesses in Haslingden and Helmshore. The profit from this event was £1,454 which will go to save lives at sea.
Chairman Anita Collinge would like to say a special 'Thank You' to all the businesses who supported the event, Pat Fisher and Mhairi Brady for masterminding the event and the Committee and the loyal band of helpers who turned up on the day.
Love all things local - but even more so connecting great local businesses in and around the area!
