The Haslingden Ladies Lifeboat Guild hosted a beauty evening last week to help raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, and what a success!

One hundred ladies attended this fantastic event, raising in total a massive £750 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

Nine talented beauticians provided advice and consultations, including two ladies from Clarins at House of Fraser. Ladies were encouraged to sample all of the products, pamper and enjoy themselves whilst raising money for this great charity.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution provides a 24 hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the UK and Ireland. RNLI is renowned for saving lives and those who work at sea are passionate about the survival of this charity, which costs £140 million per year to run. The RNLI also provides lifeguards in a variety of beach resorts during high season and a flood rescue service.

Anita Collinge, chairman of Haslingden Ladies Lifeboat Guild thanked the Clarins team for a very enjoyable and informative evening.
