Bonfire Night in Rossendale

It's that time of year again, the nights are drawing in, it's cold and rainy. But on the bright side, there some things to look forward to. You guessed it, I'm talking treacle toffee, sparklers, toffee apples (I always eat the toffee and leave the apple!) , bonfires and of course, fireworks!

Bonfire Night really is a great excuse just to go out and have fun and the good news is theres a local display happening at Haslingden Cricket Club! Its on Friday 6th November at 6.30pm and with entrance at only £2 per adult its very affordable.

I think it's always better to try and get to an organised display, theres usually much more stuff to do, a better display and its much safer. Animals are also less likely to be affected if we go to one large display rather than lots of people letting off fireworks separately- my poor cat and dog cower between the armchairs when they hear fireworks going off.
