A sweeping programme of Russian Romantic music comes to Surbiton this November. Kingston Philharmonia will perform Rachmaninov’s much-loved Piano Concerto No. 2, famed for its soaring melodies and emotional intensity, with pianist Michael Bostock.
The programme also features Glazunov’s ceremonial Cortège solennel and highlights from his colourful ballet score Raymonda.
The orchestra will be conducted by guest conductor Oi Ching Chan.
