London's only permanent theatre in the round
Founded in 1971 by Sam Walters, the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond started as a lunchtime theatre in a room above the Orange Tree Pub, with the aim of producing high quality theatre in the round at reasonable prices and making live theatre accessible to everyone in the community.
With new premises at 1 Clarence St Richmond, the Orange Tree Theatre became London's first purpose built theatre in the round. It is now one of the most highly respected off-West-End theatres in London and its wide range of theatre productions draws loyal audiences from Richmond, surrounding areas of London - and well beyond.
The Orange Tree Theatre's unique productions range from new plays and classics to musicals and revivals.
Seat prices range from £7 - £17 (prices differ depending on day and/or performance).
