FORD PARK CEMETERY TRUST PLYMOUTH WAR DEAD APPEAL

Ford Park Cemetery Trust is a company with charitable status. Established in December 1999, it took over the ownership and management of Ford Park Cemetery in April 2000 and it is supported in its work by the Friends of Ford Park Cemetery.

Its primary role is as the custodian of a historic working cemetery, the oldest in Plymouth, which has sufficient space for over 100 years or more of new burials.
The Cemetery is set in a landscape of great beauty and peace, adjacent to Central Park. Part of the Cemetery is listed as Grade II* on The Register of Parks and Gardens of Historic Interest.

In addition to its central role of managing a working cemetery, the Trust undertakes much education work with the community and with schools, centred on the history of the City and on the unique wildlife habitat of the Cemetery.
For enquiries regarding burials or how you can help in the work of the Trust please contact the Trust.
