Early evening concert (6pm) in the beautiful amphitheatre and gardens of Waterperry. Traditional and contemporary folk music from the British Isles on harp, cello, fretted instruments, female/male vocals.

Come and enjoy an early evening  concert (6pm) in the fabulous open air Amphitheatre. Bring a picnic because we'll have an extended interval (drinks available at the bar).

Much-toured 4-piece band, Moonrakers (harp, cello, stringed instruments, whistles, female/male vocals) pride themselves on having brought traditional and contemporary folk music to new audiences in festivals, arts centres, churches and village halls across the UK in recent years. With songs and tunes from the English, Irish and Scottish tradition as well as their own compositions, they’ve been described as “startlingly talented” (Oxford Times), with five albums of "exquisite music "(BBC) and "truly wonderful" (Wycombe Festival) performances. Their albums have received glowing reviews in the music press (“The real deal”, The Living Tradition; “Uplifting, sensitively crafted songs and tunes” FATEA magazine) .To see and hear more, go to
