If you’ve got time off during the Easter holidays, we have found some great events for you to take the kids:


Family Easter Fun Day 28th March

Saturday 28th March, 10:00am until 4:00pm

Go along and meet Shaun the Sheep in Oldham town centre! With appearances at 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm on Oldham High Street, Shaun will be meeting and greeting shoppers, having fun and posing for pictures!  There are plenty of other activities going on throughout the day including: 

  • Petting Farm with a calf, chicks and Easter bunnies 
  • ‘Chic Eggs on Legs’ street entertainment 
  • Special guest Bertie the Easter Bunny 
  • Easter arts and crafts kids' activities 


PADDINGTON (PG)

Saturday 28th March, 2:00pm until 4:00pm

A young Peruvian bear with a passion for all things British travels to London in search of a home.  Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kindly Brown family, who read the label around his neck ('Please look after this bear. Thank you.') and offer him a temporary haven.  It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.

Doors Open at 1:30PM. Ticket Price: £4.00 


Baby Days Easter Event at Oldham Library

Wednesday 1st April, 10:00am until 12:00pm

This month Oldham Library is hosting a Baby Days Easter Event, with lots of themed stories, songs and activities. 


Sing a long Frozen
at Oldham Coliseum

Thursday 2nd April, 3:00pm until 5:00pm

Love Frozen?  Then this sing-a-long is not to be missed.  Introduced by a live host who will show you how to use your free prop bag, warm up your singing voices and teach you some hand actions and heckles before you sit back and “Let it Go”. YOU the audience are the stars as you interact with the film. 


Easter Saturday at Daisy Nook Garden Centre

Saturday 4th April, 10:00am until 4:00pm

Coinciding with the annual Daisy Nook Easter Fair go along to Daisy Nook Garden Centre and hear Belle Vue Brass Band between 10am and 1pm.   Gary’s Feathered Friends will be back with them giving you a chance to meet the owls up close between 11am – 4pm. This event is Free – but you can be photographed holding an owl for a donation. 


Golden Oldies Easter Tea Dance @ Best Western Smokies Park Hotel

Tuesday 7th April, 1:30pm until 5:00pm

Enjoy a gorgeous three course lunch and an afternoon of entertainment and dancing with our fabulous singer who will be entertaining you with beautiful songs from bygone eras. 


Charlie and Lola at Oldham Coliseum Theatre

Wednesday 8th April, 11:00am until 12:30pm

Enter a magical journey through the seasons, as Charlie and Lola discover that everything is different and not the same. What happens when Lola and her best friend Lotta say they will honestly and promisedly look after Sizzles? And follow Charlie and his best friend Marv on a Pirate Squidbones adventure! Tickets £10
