A funeral home in Morpeth is providing a lifeline to bereaved families as Father’s Day approaches.
After research* found that 58% of those who have experienced bereavement find calendar events such as Father’s Day difficult, Co-op Funeralcare Morpeth, on Manchester Street, is inviting local people to join its bereavement support group.
Led by Paula Blackburn, Funeral Director at Morpeth, the group will meet on Wednesday 17th June, from 10.30am-12pm, offering support to those navigating the emotional challenges that significant dates can bring.
The drop-in session is intended to be a safe space where people can share their experiences, take comfort in a supportive environment, or simply listen over a cup of tea or coffee.
