THE STABLES RESTAURANT AND GORDONS WINE BAR

The Stables restaurant in Groomsport, located just outside Bangor, offers superior dining and excellent standards of service in pleasantly relaxed surroundings.

The restaurant seats a generous 150+ and there is an attractive second dining area in the evening when the Stables¹s wine bar, Gordons, is transformed into a popular eating venue.

Both restaurants offer choices from a varied and extensive menu, newly introduced in June 2007, with special week night and weekend meal deals to further tempt the tastebuds.

From Monday to Thursday diners can enjoy a meal for two and a bottle of wine for £24.95, with the same offer costing £29.95 on Friday and Saturday. Sunday dining  offers tempting choices from the a la carte menu.

The wine list offers a broad range of choices to suit all tastes, with selections form the old world and the new world.

Children are always welcome at the family orientated restaurant where kids¹menus are available for £5.95.

One of Groomsport¹s best known landmarks, The Stables restaurant was taken over by local businessman Paul O¹Kane in October 2006 along with the Esplanade, one of neighbouring Bangor¹s best known restaurants cum pubs.

At weekends live entertainment from local pop bands makes the Stables wine bar and restaurant a regular stopping point for music loving locals and tourists alike on Saturday nights.

Starting on the 7th July  'Stars in their eyes' every Saturday night.

The Stables restaurant located just outside Bangor, also offers function facilties for all occasions from weddings to business conferences at the Platinum Suite, which caters for up to 30 guests. Gordons wine bar offers additional facilities.
