Spend a creative day exploring the beauty of the Welsh mountains with gouache and pastel. Inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the Brecon Beacons, this workshop will introduce you to the unique qualities of these materials and the beautiful effects that can be created when combining them together.
We’ll begin by experimenting with a range of gouache and pastel techniques, with a focus on layering, colour, texture and creating depth with a landscape.
You’ll then be guided through the process of creating your own Welsh mountain landscape, developing a finished artwork.
Suitable for all abilities, this is a relaxed and enjoyable day of painting, experimenting and getting creative. All materials included.
