Stow Park Church building was 100 years old in 2008 - but 2008 has also seen the birth of a new Christian fellowship in Newport within its home in Stow Park. If you are looking for a venue to hire, this may be just the place for you!

The congregations of Stow Park Presbyterian Chapel and Newport United Reformed Church have now joined. Their vision is to build a church and create a community centre for the benefit of all who live in the area.

Our new church and community centre provides a modern, multi-purpose building that can be used for all sorts of activities for the community.

Our coffee shop is open from 9am until 5pm Tuesday to Friday. We offer a variety of light refreshments and snacks.

Community Lunch

Our popular community lunch takes place on the first Wednesday of the month. We provide a scrumptious filling main meal with all the trimmings such as cottage pie, lasagne, sausage & mash, fish & chips with a tasty dessert afterwards. Tea, coffee and juice come complimentary.

All this for just £3.50 per person it has to be one of the best value-for-money meals in the City.

Business and Private bookings

Customers who may wish to hire a room can do so at a cost of £16 per hour.  So if you are booking a room for a party, reception or funeral please contact for details.

The centre has a range of classes using the hall regularly - there are dance and exercise classes as well as basic computer classes - please enquire for details.
