Newmarket stables on the market for £1.4 million

Budding race gurus or recent lottery winners in Newmarket have the chance to buy up a famous stable that has produced some of the country's top racehorses.

 

Rathmoy Stables on Hamilton Road in Newmarket, was placed on the market over the weekend for a massive £1.4 million by local estate agents, Whatley Lane.

 

The home of famous trainer, Neville Callaghan for the past 30 years, the stables has become renowned throughout the racing world for producing some of the top racehorses in the industry, such as the highly sought after Danehill Dancer.

 

The Managing Director of Whatley Lane commented: “We are pleased to be involved in the sale and marketing of such a prestigious training facility. Neville Callaghan dedicated most of his life to training winning horses out of Newmarket – he built this first-class training yard from scratch and now leaves a legacy for others to follow.”
