Remember when you were little, and a great afternoon consisted of wellies, a bucket, a ‘lil fishing net and a large dollop of tenacity to see what you can get pond dipping?

Well take yourself back to those yesterday years, and get your children involved in a very traditional past time!

The National Trust is holding pond dipping sessions at Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve on Lode Lane, offering expert help in order to name your catch and show off to your friends and family!

For a small contribution of £1.50 you can have a truly British countryside afternoon, and for an extra 75p they will even take you on a mini beast hunt - one for the fans of the creepy crawlies and wriggly run-arounds!

Come and visit the National Trust at Wicken Fen, on Tuesday 16th August from 11:15 to 15:30, and get bugged out this summer!
