The brand new Premier Inn Hotel in Newmarket, which is currently under construction next to the Conservative Club on Fordham Road, could open as early as Spring 2011, it has been confirmed this week.
The 75 bedroom, four storey complex, hopes to attract a number of business and leisure travellers to Newmarket, as well as creating several new jobs and business opportunities for local contractors.
A Whitebread spokeperson, the company that owns the Premier Inn chain of Hotels, outlined their Newmarket plans:
“The building should be finished by February or March next year.
“It will boast 75 bedrooms and will have a Beefeater restaurant incorporated into the ground floor.
“In terms of facilities, there won’t be any conference rooms or swimming pools, but all Premier Inns are finished to a high quality throughout.”
