Mick Smith, a Newmarket resident disappointed with the local Police, has set up his very own Neighbourhood Watch group on Facebook to support local residents.
Mick established the group after he and his neighbours suffered over two years of trouble from local yobs in their area.
Mick posted details of the abuse on Facebook and was overwhelmed with messages of support from local people who had experienced similar problems within the town.
The group, which this week reached over 100 members, aims to alert local people to potential trouble hotspots within the town and also act a support group for the local community.
