Starting on Thursday the 29th of August The Guineas are hosting a food festival in Newmarket.
This features food and demonstrations from The Pantry, Rhubarb and Fish Burwell to name a few... There are a great selection of gifts from Black Cat, some gadgets from The Car Phone Warehouse......and various other 'bits and bobs' thrown into the mix!
Do not stop at The Food Festival, as there is lots to do in Newmarket.
The Horse Racing Museum, go and see the gallops browse the local shops and perhaps purchase some of the famous 'Musks' sausages from Eric Tennant 'the butcher' to go to in Newmarket. Ladies may wish to go to 'Martha V' the great ladies clothing shop in Newmarket that has 'rave reviews' - see what Martha's customers say, and then pop in for a coffee at Coffee & Co., officially 'the most loved coffee shop in the UK'. Tucked away in Sun Lane this locally owned, much loved coffee shop is where the locals go - go on try it!
Of course you are unable to see all in a day - we have 2 racecourses as well, and the horse racing with it's atmosphere and sense of fun too is not to be missed in Newmarket.
