This is the Dragonfly Safari, so even those of the most nervous disposition can come and see these enchanting creatures at Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve in Ely. The Safari is a project run by the National Trust, in a bid to raise awareness of the dragonfly and damselfly as part of the catalogue of other initiatives they run across the UK.
Booking is not needed for this weekend wonder, and you can team this with a bike ride afterwards or a woodland walk to see what other wildlife discoveries are in store.
