With all this talk of the garden and getting your fruit and veg planted, I hope it has whetted your appetite for some delicious food and fantastic produce!

But you will have to wait a little longer before you can pop into the garden for your newly planted, tasty treats and so why not come and visit the Farmers Market at Risby Village Hall in the meantime?

There is of course so much more on offer too, with fantastic local meats, (our famous Newmarket Sausage may be on offer!), dairy products, delicious free range eggs which make nothing but the best cakes and a cracking egg on toast, if you excuse the pun.

There are the seemingly endlessly creative flavours of preserves ready to slather on cheeses or hot buttery toast, feel good fresh vegetables and you could top it all off with some local craft for the home. If you have not tried out this little jewel in Newmarket’s crown, then you must be bananas!

Head on down to Risby Village Hall this Saturday 3rd March for some weekend treats for your deserving taste buds!
