Local women are being urged to join the fight against cancer across the UK and take part in next months Race for Life in Newmarket.
Teresa Tate, a local woman who lost her mother to cancer in 2008, is appealling to women across Newmarket and surrounding areas to join the charity event that takes place on Sunday 4th July.
Lucy Hynes, event manager for Race for Life in Cambridge and Newmarket, outlined: "We are absolutely thrilled that so many women will be taking part in Race for Life in Cambridge. Together, they will help us create a fantastic atmosphere on the day and raise crucial funds to help beat cancer.”
