Christmas post deadlines
21st November 2012

It's almost December and for those of you with friends and family overseas, that means time could be running out for getting cards out to loved ones.

If you are posting to the UK, then those of you saving money with second class post only have until December 13th to get the cards in the post (Dec 18th for First Class, 20th for Recorded and as late as the 22nd for Special Delivery).

Depending on how many cards you have to write, that might not leave much time!

International posting dates are, of course, closer and especially for those with loved ones in the Forces. The last recommended date for airmail to operational BFPO's is November 30th, and 14th December if they are static.

Meanwhile, the latest you can send airmail to Asia, Australia, the Far East and New Zealand is Wednesday 5th December and for Africa, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Middle East the final date is the 7th.

USA, Canada and Eastern Europe can go as late as December 10th and you have until the 12th for cards to Western Europe.

Don't get caught out and miss your Christmas card postage dates!
