The opening hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm October to March, 8.30 am to 7.30 pm April to Sept, closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. \rAt this site you can also recycle:rEngine oil, Scrap metal, Fridges and freezers, Car batteries, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment including light bulbs, Fluorescent tubes, Household batteries, Reusable bric-a-brac, Wood Plasterboard, ShoesBooks, CDs, DVDs, Soil and Rubble, Household chemicals, Bicycles, Cooking Oil, Gas Bottles, General Residual Household Waste, Asbestos. Height barriers are installed, which prevent vehicles over 2 metres (6 foot 7 inches) tall from using the site. Domestic trailers less than six feet long from hitch to end and with a single axle are permitted to use the site for the recycling and disposal of household waste. Trailers longer than six feet or with more than one axle will be turned away.
