Verbatim, the phone answering service is attending The Best of Newbury’s Question Time, on 21st September where businesses are set to have their questions answered when West Berkshire hosts its very own Question Time with the local MP and business leaders taking part in the event. This is about the very future of your business.

The panel includes Richard Benyon, Conservative MP for Newbury, Ian Vickerage, President of the West Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, Hilary Omissi OBE, Director of the Berkshire SRG Post 16 Commissioning Team and David Knowles-Leak, Regional Chair of the Thames Valley Federation of Small Businesses.

The event will also reach out to a wider audience with Nigel Morgan, from Berkshire public relations and social media consultancy, who will be tweeting the event live.

Local companies have realised that not only is outsourcing their unanswered calls very sensible – it can be profitable too! We care about the future of your business and we are here to support you.

Typically 80 per cent of callers who get an engaged tone or an answerphone will hang up rather than leave a message and 69% will NEVER call back. Another interesting fact, 80% of businesses have dropped a supplier or a potential supplier because response times are too long!  So it is vital that you answer all your calls. Of course the reality is that in a busy office it is not always possible to answer your own calls, which is where Verbatim can help.

Whether fielding all your calls, or simply handling overflow calls, Verbatim the Phone Answering Service can ensure that no call goes unanswered and we can connect them to you, take messages or provide information as required.

So, if you want to be sure that companies trying to reach you have an answer, then why not come along to The Best of Newbury’s Question Time where we can answer your questions and about how we can help you!

The exhibition event is from 4.00pm to 8.30pm and there is open networking between 4.00 - 5.45 pm and again from 7.30 - 8.30pm on the 21st September at Newbury College.  Hopefully see you there.
