According to the McLaren website, Newbury  is set to host the launch of the new McLaren Formula 1 car next Friday.

The new Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 car will be launched in front of the world’s media at Vodafone’s headquarters in Newbury next Friday, January 29.

The new MP4-25, which will be used by Lewis Hamilton and current world champion Jenson Button in the forthcoming season, will be unveiled at the Newbury Vodafone premises.

It is understood the team's two drivers will attend the unveiling of the car.

The Newbury-based telecommunication giant has sponsored the F1 team since January 2007 and has previously hosted a private visit from Lewis Hamilton in November 2008, just days after he claimed the World Championship title.

With invitations to the event strictly limited, the unveiling of the car and on-stage press Q&A sessions with Jenson and Lewis will all be streamed live exclusively on http://www.mclaren.com – so you won’t miss a thing!
