TheBestOfNewbury would like to add its support to the recent news that Head Chef Justin Brown of the Carnarvon Arms has been revealed as one of the finalists for the '2010 Pub Chef Of The Year Awards', as sponsored by Pub trade magazine 'The Morning Advertiser'.

This award celebrates the talented chefs whose skills and passion make pubs such fantastic places to dine. In all, 34 chefs have made the final and will compete against each other, to be named category champions and in turn, one of them will be crowned Pub Chef Of The Year. In Newbury we are lucky to have the talents of Justin on our doorstep.

Winners will be announced in March at an awards ceremony which is to be held at Plaisterers Hall, London.

Good Luck Justin!
