HALLOWEEN

October 29th

Eddie Catz Childrens Playcentre: Halloween Party from 5-7pm. Disco, Magician and Fancy Dress Competition.

October 30th

Halloween Hullabaloo in Market Square: From 5pm, with Witches, music, scary tales, magicians, seasonal fayre and more – and its FREE!

BONFIRE NIGHT

As bonfire night falls on a Saturday this year, the events will be a fantastic chance to make the most of the weekend.

The trouble is, which do you pick?

Depending on where you live in the area you may want to attend one or more of the following:

Saturday Nov 5th

Falkland Cricket Club, Wash Common: gates open 6pm. Bonfire, Fireworks Display and BBQ.

Chieveley Bonfire and Firework Display: gates open at 6.15pm for this oldest village Bonfire Night celebration, with Fireworks, Bonfire, Bar and BBQ.

Lions Club at Newbury Racecourse: gates open at 5.30pm. Fireworks, Fun Fair, bar and BBQ.

Saturday Nov 12th

Thatcham Rotary Club, Henwick Farm: gates open 6pm. Bonfire, Fireworks and Newbury Sound Radio.

So, give Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor a miss for one night and get out toenjoy one of these well organised local Newbury Bonfire celebrations. 

Whichever you choose, you can be sure of a great family night out, where you can appreciate fireworks in a safe but spectacular way!
