  • Friday 27th February 7:00pm until 8:45pm
Familiar favourites by Schubert, Vaughan Williams and Britten sit alongside lesser-known songs by Herbert Howells, Erich Korngold and Hugo Wolf. Expect musical theatre numbers too, and perhaps some Flanders and Swann…!

Recently acclaimed by The Times for his "vigorous" and "exquisite" singing, bass-baritone Christopher Webb is in increasing demand as a soloist and ensemble singer.  He is a member of the world-famous choir of St Paul's Cathedral, and has appeared as a soloist with The Monteverdi Choir, Dunedin Consort and The English Concert in venues such as Wigmore Hall, the NIkolaikirche Leipzig and La Scala Milan.  He can also be heard with ensembles including The Marian Consort, The Tallis Scholars and Polyphony, and sang for the King's Coronation in 2023.  He joins St Dionysius' new Director of Music, Ben Atkinson, in a programme of music from the great English and German art song traditions.
