Lovely place, helpful staff and great food. The sausages are great, as are all the cuts of meat we’ve tried. The little extras like local eggs and sauces etc are really lovely too
The meat is amazing and such a wonderful selection that you would not see in supermarkets or local butchers e.g. hogget. The quality of the meat is superb and things like home made corned beef and wonderful dried meats are a treat. Plus there is a great selection of wine and organic veg and salad. And best of all the friendly and knowledgable staff
The people and their friendly welcome, the roaming animals, it’s beautiful surroundings but most of all the belief and passion behind its success.
Excellent quality, local meat and friendly, helpful staff. Also offer fun sausage making experience!
Waterloo Cottage Farm keeps going up and up in its efforts to create a one stop shop for all your - very healthy, sustainable - products, even including wines and beers! The meat is second to none, pasture fed with full traceability; they provide organic vegetables via edibLE16, have given over an area of land for a very successful community garden, there are luxury yurts on another part of their farm and now there's a 'Canvas Cafe' - you don't need to go anywhere else for all your needs! Service is always friendly and helpful, you're always sure of a warm welcome - and you can even admire their latest family of piglets.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all products that are sold in this establishment , and nothing is too much trouble . The quality of the organic meat is superb . There is a variety of products on display. I would recommend Waterloo Cottage to everyone .
I love coming to Waterloo Cottage. Kirsty and her team always help me choose something different and help me with with cooking tips and choosing things to go with my meal. Meats, vegetables, snacks, drinks and fantastic wine. What more can I ask for!
Great local business producing amazing free-range organic meat at reasonable prices. They also support many other small local businesses in many ways!
