We went to Everest Lounge for a meal last night. The restaurant was set up well with screens between tables, hand sanitiser on entry and staff wore masks. The menu was interesting with lots of unusual dishes. To start with we had the momos which were juicy and delicious, the crispy squid and a Tibetan Sheekh kebab, which was really different and tasty. The main courses were equally as yummy, everything seemed very fresh and the sauces and flavours of the different curries were very varied. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly and the staff seemed very passionate about the food they were serving. Special thanks to Shivani, Joseph and Sunil for looking after us so well and for organising a dessert with candles in for my husband who was celebrating his birthday. We will be back again soon!

Just been to Everest Lounge for the first time but it certainly won’t be the last time. This is my new curry house of choice in Harborough. The food was great I had the EVEREST SPECIAL MIX KARAHI (chicken, prawns & lamb). It was superb! The restaurant it immaculate with a contemporary feel, clean tidy and with proper social distancing measures in place which is definitely not the case in other indian Restuarant’s in town that I’ve been to during lockdown (I won’t say which). The staff are welcoming and polite. The presentation of the food is great too. Prices are reasonable, in-line with the rest of town from what I can tell. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Well worth a visit

I've recently been to the Everest Lounge in Market Harborough based on a recommendation from a friend and I was very happy that I followed their advice!
The menu has everything you'd expect from an Indian Restaurant but it also has a few extras which are slightly more unusual and make for a very interesting outing. The choice is extensive and I'm not sure I remember going somewhere with such a comprehensive list of starters and sides.Once the food comes you can tell that they're concentrated on the quality as every dish was superb in taste and presentation but the prices are still somehow in line with the local market.
The interior is clean, comfortable and well presented and all of the staff are friendly and efficient - We will 100% be going back!

Visited the Everest Lounge and tasted some of the most exquisite dishes ever... Not your run of the mill Indian fare but beautifully cooked and presented Nepali and Tibetan food. I especially enjoyed the Momos starter, and the onion bhajis made with potato, they were so light and crispy. It was busy due to the current promotion but there were plenty of staff and service was with a smile. It also felt Covid safe with screens between the tables. We hope to return soon.

Just the best food, best atmosphere, best attention to detail I could hope for. We've been for two birthday celebrations as well as other nights in and takeaways and each time we have been super impressed with the quality of the food and the welcome. As a vegan, I was very impressed with the menu and the wide choice available.
My daughter has lived in Nepal and can attest that the food is authentic and exactly how she remembered it.This will be our restaurant of choice from now on. Can't fault it at all. Hope you're a huge success.

We had a family meal at Everest Lounge, the food was amazing, fresh flavours, showcasing Nepalese and Tibetan food as an alternative to traditional Indian dining. Such a wide range of choices to suit everyone’s taste. The noodles were the first choice for my family! A must try is the chicken Momo! You will definitely be going back for more!!
Service was friendly and individual attention. The vibe in the restaurant was great!

Manager and staff are extremely helpful and very friendly.
We have had several takeaways from Everest Lounge and never been disappointed!Avatar use to be our favourite restaurant in harborough and I would say they still have the best chilli fish starter but in saying that Everest lounge Gurkhali Chicken is better, excellent flavour. All of the dishes we have had have been extremely flavourful.
Can’t wait for tonight’s takeaway! The Everest lounge have replaced Avatar as the best Indian in harborough. However I prefer avatars restaurant for sitting in its just a personal choice. Everest lounge are better for takeaway. If you really like these restaurants steer clear of the cinnamon lounge it’s totally disgusting!

Always hoping for better from any new Indian restaurant we were blown away by our first takeaway from here; the food looks and tastes like someone is actually a chef and really cared that we would enjoy their food. No indiscriminent brown gloop here! We were excited to go for our first 'eat-in' for a family birthday although feeling cautious as it is still lockdown so we didnt' know what to expect inside. Blown away again just walking in and seeing the birthday banners but safety is spot on. Screens in between the tables and staff have masks and gloves. Again the food is just wonderful. The only problem with leaving a good review is that it might get too busy!! But all credit to Pradip and team for a fantastic restaurant. Its a relief to feel like you're really getting a taste of Nepal.

Having visited Everest Lounge multiple times now, I am consistently amazed by the hospitality and amazing flavours. Every visit is made to feel special by the team, who go out of their way to provide the best dining experience no matter what the occasion. Truly authentic food (try the Momos!) and fantastic vegetarian options including many I have not seen before on other menus. I have eaten in lots of Indian cuisine restaurants in Harborough, but Everest Lounge is by FAR the best and is the closest food I’ve had to the real thing in Nepal. This restaurant should be in everyone’s diaries to visit! (Feels very COVID safe too).

Went here for food one lunch time. Surprised to find a place like this open during the day for one thing but the venue, food and service were all excellent. The food actually tasted authentic, it was piping hot and you could tell it was freshly prepared. I would highly recommend. Furthermore, while this is most definitely a fine dining venue, the prices were very good.

I visited with a friend on a short stay in Market Harborough.
The restaurant felt very clean and Covid safe on entry - staff wore masks and all the tables had good spacing, enhanced with free standing plastic screens in some areas.
This was a little different to other Indian style restaurants I have visited in that it specialised in Tibetan and Nepali dishes so we decided to concentrate on those.
I ordered Keema Samosa for starter (filled with a blend of potatoes, peas, Everest herbs) which was very tasty. For main I ordered a Nepali dish - Lamb Hariyali with boiled rice (cooked with fresh spinach, coriander, mint sauces with garlic, ginger & touch of cream) - which was certainly different and well presented.
All in all a very pleasant visit and the Mango Lassi drinks are to die for.
