We Invented The Weekend returns for 2026 with a huge celebration of free time, creativity and community across MediaCity and Salford Quays.
Enjoy two days packed with live music, sports, theatre, workshops, wellbeing activities, food, dance, arts and family entertainment, with more than 200 free activities to explore. From BMX and rock climbing to crafting, DJ workshops and boat rides across the Quays, there’s something for all ages.
New for 2026 is Club Culture, celebrating Manchester’s legendary dance music scene with DJs, talks and interactive sessions throughout the weekend.
