The Positivity Experiment, a life-affirming new play about friendship, acceptance and finding joy again, premieres at the Whitefield Garrick Theatre this July.
Two strangers meet on a bridge on New Year’s Eve. After suffering a breakdown, Jas has given up on life. Cue Vee, a witty, chaotic mystery who offers an intriguing proposition: give them a year to prove just how incredible, amazing and completely, undeniably beautiful life can be. What follows is the start of a great friendship and a play packed full of music, healing... and gnomes.
Developed by four creatives to raise awareness of struggles with mental health, The Positivity Experiment delivers a powerful message that people aren’t alone, that it’s okay not to be okay, and that it's possible to find hope once more. A positive and inspiring love letter to friendship, kindness and the remarkable endurance of the human spirit.
