Trafford Palazzo hosts internationally acclaimed artist Luke Jerram's Gaia, a stunning seven-metre floating Earth, from 9 September to 2 October.
Created using hyper-detailed NASA imagery, the illuminated Earth slowly rotates with a bespoke surround-sound composition by BAFTA Award-winning composer Dan Jones. Each centimetre represents approximately 18 kilometres of the Earth's surface, designed to inspire the "Overview Effect" reported by astronauts.
